The Crew Motorfest took a different road from its predecessors. Instead of stretching a scaled-down map of an entire country, Ivory Tower built the game around a single, dense setting: the island of O’ahu, Hawaii. That decision shaped everything that followed, from the variety of terrain to the way events are packaged.
Playlists as the heart of the game
The core structure is the Playlist system. Each playlist is a themed mini-campaign — vintage cars, Japanese street culture, electric vehicles, off-road builds, and more. Every one comes with its own presentation, narration, and rules, so switching from a classic muscle-car tour to a drift showcase feels like changing channels rather than grinding the same race again.
An open island built for driving
O’ahu offers coastal highways, tight city streets in Honolulu, volcanic dirt tracks, and jungle trails. Players can also switch between cars, boats, and planes on the fly, which keeps free roam surprisingly playful between events.
Seasons and live events
Regular seasons add new playlists, vehicles, and limited-time challenges. Competitive modes like Grand Race — large mixed-vehicle races — give experienced drivers a reason to keep tuning their garage.
Should you jump in now?
If you enjoy arcade racing with variety and a strong sense of place, Motorfest remains one of the more welcoming options in the genre. Newcomers can follow playlists at their own pace, while veterans chase leaderboards and seasonal rewards.
